Andrei KazlouskiAndrei Kazlouski was born on Oct. 8th, 1989 in Minsk, Belarus. He started dancing at 3 years old and eventually became one of top junior dancers in Belarus where he continued to compete until moving to Germany at 15 years old. Shortly thereafter, Andrei became a German youth champion and a world finalist in 2006.
After achieving the titles of world youth vice-champion, German open vice-champion and Austrian open champion, Andrei decided to move to the United States in 2008. He danced as an amateur on the American dance circuit, reaching the top 3 at the US National Amateur Championship. In February 2012 Andrei decided to turn pro with Asta and subsequently becoming Black Pool RS and USDC finalists. |
Asta SigvaldadottirAsta Sigvaldadottir, born in Reykjavik, Iceland, where she started dancing at the age of 4. As a 13 year old she moved to Copenhagen, Denmark, and as Danish representative she became 6 times national champion in the junior and youth categories as well as finalist at big international events like Blackpool, Copenhagen Open, North-European Championships, Italian Open and many more.In 2005 Asta moved to England and with her partner there she became a finalist of all major Open U21 competitions like Blackpool, International Championships, Embassy Ball, Dutch Open, etc. Later they became 3rd at British Open Amateur Rising Star.
Asta has spent years traveling around the world competing, demonstrating, teaching as well as educating herself with some of the most successful instructors of Latin American dancing. She spent longer periods of time in Asia, especially Hong Kong and Indonesia, and Russia where she was teaching dancing and educating herself with her own coaches. Now Asta lives in New York and dances with Andrei Kazlouski. During their short partnership they have managed to become one of Americas top professional latin couples making the Blackpool Rising Star final and being in the top of competition like Yankee Classic, Millennium and Manhattan Championships. |
